Walsh Messenger Service Radio For A Cure Garden City Park, NY Walsh Messenger Service has teamed up with KJOY as the presenter of the sixth annual Radio For A Cure campaign to heighten awareness of breast cancer on Long Island. The campaign features a number of original radio vignettes that will run over 1500 times on five Barnstable Radio Stations: KJOY, WKJY, WBZO, WMJC and WHLI. Local legislators including Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi and U.S. Representative Carolyn McCarthy - along with breast cancer activists, actors and figures in the media - have lent their voices to these vignettes, which remind Long Island men and women that early detection through self-examination saves lives.
